The new crops of two of our favorite Roaster Gold coffees have just arrived. The wait is over for Geisha and Ethiopia Guji lovers. Celebrate the return with us by trying the new crop of our Costa Rica Geisha and the new crop of our Ethiopia Guji 2020 Cup of Excellence Winner.
The Costa Rica Geisha is a lively and sweet Central American treat! Naturally processed Geisha beans from a Tarrazu microlot, this Roaster Gold coffee is sweet, rich and complex, with a smooth, creamy body, candied passion fruit sweetness, chocolate richness and a complex lingering finish. The coffee sweetens as it cools, for a gourmet iced coffee or Cold Brew. Enjoy it at a City or Full City roast level to heighten lively passion fruit notes, Vienna or darker for a Kona-sweet treat.
The new Ethiopia Guji 2020 Cup of Excellence Winner is the new crop of the same coffee that won the 2020 Cup of Excellence. There was no Cup of Excellence competition this year, but we bet this new crop would have been similarly competitive. The new crop is still an amazing, Roaster Gold worthy, coffee. A “practically perfect” naturally processed coffee, it is intense and very complex, with a smooth, full body, jasmine aroma, honey sweetness, cocoa richness and a lingering sweet cocoa finish. Enjoy it at a City or Full City to emphasize the jasmine aroma, Vienna or darker for an even sweeter, more complex cup.
