Got work-at-home jitters? Try Decaf Cozy Coffee.
Carrie Masek
Those of us who work in essential businesses are still heading to work every morning, but most folks are staying home. We’re happy we can keep roasting custom coffee to be delivered to our customers’ doors. Some of those customers, though, have reached out to us with a coffee-related problem. They find themselves drinking more coffee while they work at home (or care for home bound school age children), and are getting seriously jittery by late afternoon. They’ve asked if there’s a good decaf to switch to for afternoon drinking.
Here at Coffee by the Roast, we have strong opinions about decaf coffee, as any who have been reading our blogs know*. Decaf coffee does contain caffeine, but the decaffeinated beans we buy contain only 3% of the caffeine in regular coffee (about 5 mg as opposed to 180 mg). We only buy decaf coffee that has been decaffeinated using a water process, and most importantly, we only buy decaf beans that brew into coffee that tastes like coffee. So the quick answer to our customers’ question is: Any of our decafs would be a good choice.
Here at Coffee by the Roast, we want to do better than just “good” for our customers. We decided to create a special decaf coffee for those stuck at home during the Covid-19 shutdown, a no-stress decaf, organically certified (but not too expensive) coffee that would have all the flavor of good coffee with none of the jitters.
We hit the jack pot! Decaf Cozy Coffee is everything a good coffee should be: Sweet and rich with gentle herbal topnotes balanced by chocolate sweetness and lingering richness. It’s also organically certified and decaffeinated using one of our favorite water decaffeination processes.
So if you’re looking for a soothing decaf to ease the challenges of the current quarantine, try Decaf Cozy Coffee.
How are you weathering the changes brought on by the battle against Covid-19? Please join the conversation and let us know. You can share your thoughts on the Facebook thread or in a comment on this blog. Or, if you have thoughts about coffee you’d like to share with the wider world, leave us a coffee review on Google or on your favorite review site. Not only do we value your opinions, but reviews help more people find us. Help us connect coffee lovers to fresh, quality coffee!
We wish all our customers good health and calm in this anxious time.
