Ask the Roaster (Update): Are you still roasting coffee now that there's a Stay at Home order for Illinois?
Carrie Masek
Yes!
Though Governor J. B. Pritzker announced a Stay at Home order Friday afternoon that will close all non-essential businesses in Illinois until at least April 7. Coffee roasting and all other food manufacturing are considered essential industries. We will continue custom roasting coffee and shipping it fresh to our customers’ doors throughout the duration of the Stay at Home order.
Last week, we implemented the changes necessary to continue doing business during the pandemic and appreciate the support and understanding we’ve received from our customers. More changes may become necessary, but as long as we’re able, we’ll continue to provide the best possible coffee, roasted to your order and delivered fresh.
Even in difficult times, life is better with good coffee.
