Recent problems with credit card payments and a couple of solutions

Several of our customers have had problems with their credit card payments being declined when there was nothing wrong with their credit card. Thanks to all of you who called or emailed and let us know about this problem!
We did some digging and discovered that the root of the problem lies with recent changes in security regulations. Apparently, our website’s platform supports some manifestations of the new security protocols, but not all of them. I’ve put in a request for the platform to fix this problem ASAP, but in the meantime, there are two ways to order coffee and pay for it without running into difficulties.
When you’re finalizing your order through the website, please choose to pay through PayPal. You can use the same credit card you would have used anyway. Payments placed through PayPal are working correctly.
You can also email us or call 847-578-0772 and place your order directly with us. We’re happy to process your order and haven’t had any problems running charges manually.
If we’re busy roasting coffee, we may not hear the phone. Please leave a message and we’ll call you back as soon as we get it.
To all of you who ran into this problem, please accept our apologies for the aggravation it caused. We value all of you and are delighted that you’ve chosen us to roast your coffee.
