No fooling, it's already April.

Happy April Fools Day! Even with Covid-19 complicating everyone’s lives, April is still a fun month. It starts with jokes and gray, chilly days and ends with flowers and the promise of Spring. Even if your local Easter Egg hunt was cancelled, and your place of worship is only holding services online, you can still start your day with a great cup of coffee.

Our Coffee of the Month for April is Cloudburst Blend. A creamy coffee with citrus topnotes, toffee richness and lingering chocolate finish. Lively enough to brighten the grayest spring morning, smooth enough to enjoy all day. Cloudburst Blend will be available in full and 1/2 roast pouches through the month of April.

For a bolder start to your day, try our Exploration Coffee for April, Organic Dragon. At a Vienna roast level, this organically certified coffee is full-bodied with a sweet, barley malt aroma and the rich flavor of Baker’s chocolate and toasted caramel. Organic Dragon will be available in both full and 1/2 roast pouches all month.

One of the things Covid-19 is complicating is the coffee supply chain. Don’t worry, we have lots of coffee. Unfortunately, we are beginning to run low on the coffees we normally order in early spring. We’ll get the new crop of these coffees when we can, but in the meantime, you may find you favorite coffee is “out of stock.” If that happens, we’d be happy to suggest another coffee for you to try until your favorite is back. Please just drop us an email or leave a note on our Contact Us page.

One of the coffee's we’re running low on is Organic Brazil de Fatima. It’s one of our favorites, and unfortunately one that wasn’t available when we last ordered coffee. We’ll order more as soon as we can, but in the meantime, if Organic Brazil de Fatima is one of your favorites, too, consider trying our new Brazil Serra Negra. Brazil Serra Negra is a smooth, heavy-bodied coffee from the highlands of Minas Gerais, with nutty richness, praline sweetness and a hint of citrus.
