It's June!
Carrie Masek
June is a great month for coffee. The warmer weather inspires some to shift to cold brew or iced coffee. Others drink hot coffee all year long. Whichever option appeals to you, we have a coffee for you to try.
Our Coffee of the Month for June is Cotton Candy Coffee, a lively breakfast coffee as bright as a summer morning, with a spritz of citrus that melts into a clean, refreshing finish. Cotton Candy Coffee will be available all month in both full and 1/2 roast bags.
Our Exploration Coffee for June is our newest coffee from Papua New Guinea, PNG Highlands. As the name implies, the coffee is grown on mountain slopes and the combination of volcanic soil, rainfall and altitude create a green coffee that roasts into a smooth, rich and tangy cup. The Roaster’s Choice roast level for PNG Highlands is Vienna, to highlight the coffee’s smooth, full body and cocoa richness without losing delicious apricot topnotes. This is a great coffee hot, especially with a bit of cream. It also makes excellent Cold Brew coffee. PNG Highlands, Vienna roast level, will be available in 1/2 roast bags all month.
One of our favorite coffees from Costa Rica, Costa Rica Monte Crisol is back! The lively and rich coffee is better than ever with citrusy floral notes joining the tangy blueberry flavors we’ve always loved in this coffee. Add the lingering cocoa richness, for a coffee that’s perfect to enjoy, hot or cold, all day long.
Finally, to thank all the readers of this blog, we’re offering a FREE 1/2 roast of coffee with your first order of the month. Just write “June” in the box for additional instructions (or send us a note) and we’ll include a 1/2 roast of Cotton Candy coffee with your first order this month. Sharing great coffee is our favorite way to celebrate the beginning of summer!
How do you celebrate summer? Trips to the beach, picnics in the park, or just hanging out on your porch enjoying long summer evenings, whatever you do, we’d love to hear about it.
