It's August and the hottest days of summer are on their way. Keep your cool with coffee! Whether you agree with the Chinese and sip it hot to cool off, or prefer it frosty and iced, the Dog Days of Summer are a great time to enjoy your favorite coffee!
The Coffee of the Month for August is Sea Salt Breeze, a sweet, full-bodied blend as refreshing as a trip to the seaside. Great brewed hot or cold. Try it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a very special treat! Available all month in both full and 1/2 roast pouches.
The Exploration Coffee for August is Ethiopia Natural Lake Abaya (Full City roast level). A "practically perfect" naturally processed coffee with a silky mouthfeel, juicy plum topnotes, candy sweetness and a hint of spice, Ethiopia Natural Lake Abaya is wonderful hot and also makes great Cold Brew. Available all month is both full and 1/2 roast pouches.
Late summer and early fall are great seasons for new coffees. We just got in the new crop of two of our favorites, Costa Rica Monte Crisol and Guatemala El Injertal.
Costa Rica Monte Crisol is a smooth, sweet coffee with blueberry topnotes and a rich, buttery finish. Lively enough to wake up your morning and smooth enough to enjoy all day.
Guatemala El Injertal is a Rainforest Alliance certified coffee, bright and medium bodied, with milk chocolate aromatics, buttery richness, orange topnotes and a hint of peach sweetness.
