The USPS Holiday Slowdown has begun
Carrie Masek
It's still early December, but the US mail has already begun to slow. Every other time of the year, it only takes 2-3 days for coffee to go from our roasting room in North Chicago, IL to most places in the US. Hawaii or Alaska may take another day, but usually folks have their coffee well within a week of roasting. During the Holidays, though, heavy volumes of packages slow the mail.
Don't let your coffee be late. Between now and the end of the year, it will take an extra day or two, at least, for your coffee to be delivered. If you need coffee for Christmas, either for a gift or to enjoy yourself, please give it extra time to travel from us to you. For customers living outside the Chicago area, we suggest ordering coffee by noon on Tuesday, December 20. Customers who live in the Chicago area can probably wait until Wednesday, December 21.
Don't wait too long! Coffee makes the holidays even better.
Have a great Holiday Season!
