Pardon our (virtual) dust. Coffee by the Roast™ has a new website and Facebook page. They're here just in time for this year's International Coffee Day, October 1, 2015. To celebrate, we're adding a FREE half roast of coffee to every order we receive now through Sunday, October 4. Please stop by our new site, brave any last minute glitches, and try some great coffee!
For October's Coffee of the Month, we are again offering our sinfully good Black Magic Brew. For those who prefer interesting single origin varietals, we also have a new naturally processed coffee from El Salvador, El Salvador Laguna Las Ranas, finca San Francisco. Sweet and mild, with tropical fruit and melon topnotes balanced by chocoate richness, this lovely single estate coffee just grows sweeter as it cools.
Some of our customers have asked us to grind their whole bean coffee before we ship it. If you would like to try fresh roasted coffee, but don’t have a grinder, just leave a note in the “Additional Instructions” box when you check out (or contact us at info@coffeebytheroast.com) and ask for the coffee to be ground. Let us know what kind of brewer you use (auto drip, old-fashioned percolator, French press, etc.) and we will happily grind your coffee before shipping it to you.
To thank the subscribers to our newsletter, we are including an additional half-roast pouch of Black Magic Brew, FREE, with your first order of the month! Coffee Fresh, Inc. roasts only to order, and ships daily. Each roast starts with 600 grams of green coffee beans. After roasting, the weight of each pouch varies between 1 and 1.2 pounds depending on the variety of coffee and the roast level chosen. Prices on website are per single-roast pouch, and range from $10.99 to $46.25/pouch depending on the coffee – around $12 per pound for most varieties at most roast levels.
