It's May!
Carrie Masek
Flowers are blooming and the weather is getting warmer, but spring mornings are still chilly enough for a good, hot cup of coffee. Whether you're celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day or holding out for Memorial Day weekend, May is a great month for coffee...and we’re expecting a bunch of new ones!
Our Coffee of the Month for May is Springtime Twist, a lively, smooth bodied coffee with a subtle floral aroma and a rich, lingering finish. Springtime Twist is perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch or to sip all day long. Available in full and 1/2 roast bags all month.
Our Exploration Coffee this month is Organic Timor Coopertiva. Roasted to a Northern Italian roast level, Organic Timor is a smooth, bold and intense coffee with orange blossom sweetness and hazelnut richness. Available in full and 1/2 roast bags all month.
Our Spring coffees are on their way. The first to arrive, lively, sweet and rich Honduras San Vicente. Honduras is the second largest producer of Arabica coffee in the world*, and Honduras San Vicente is Honduran coffee at its finest, bright enough to start any morning and smooth enough to enjoy all day long. Choose a light roast to heighten zesty citrus flavor and a whiff of lemon verbena. Go darker to maximize chocolate notes for a sweeter, richer cup. Grown at over 5000 ft above sea level, Honduras San Vicente is great at any roast level.
More coffees are scheduled to arrive throughout the month. Keep an eye on our Spotlight to learn about them as they roll in.
To thank the readers of our blog, we're offering a free 1/2 roast of Springtime Twist with your first order of the month. Just write "May" in the box for Additional Instructions (or drop us a note) and we'll through in the extra coffee at no extra charge. Sharing coffee is our favorite way to celebrate the month of May.
