Valentine to Kona Pahala

Everyone agrees there’s something special about Kona. Not only is it grown in the US, but its smooth, sweet flavor sets it apart from other coffees. Even folks who don’t particularly like coffee, have been known to love Hawaii’s Kona.
That’s the case with Bill, a member of our technical team. Most of us in the Coffee by the Roast family love coffee and have worked in all aspects of the business — from sweeping the warehouse, to roasting green coffee, from cupping the coffees, to creating new blends. The exception to this rule are the members of our technical team, two of whom never even liked coffee before they met us. That’s one reason we were delighted when both of them volunteered their favorite coffee for a valentine. Today’s goes to Bill’s favorite, Kona Pahala.
Kona Pahala, take me away,
To a tropical beach where the palm trees sway.
As smooth as warm breezes, as sweet as a flower,
You brighten my day, no matter the hour.
As rich and as rare as love at first sight,
Kona Pahala, a daily delight.
