The new crop coffees are on their way...and not a moment too soon! We just sold our last roast of Guatemala Huehuetenango. The new crop of Huehue's won't be in for another month, but another of our favorite Guatemalan's, Organic Guatemala Ceylan, will be arriving next week. You don't have to wait to order, though. If you'd like to try a smooth and rich, organically certified coffee with lively citrus topnotes and a lingering butter finish, go ahead and order some today. We'll roast your coffee as soon as it comes in, probably on Wednesday.
March is over, and so is our experiment offering 1/2 roast sample bags of Ecuador Patricio Jijon. Thank you to everyone who tried this amazing coffee! We had so much fun with the small bags of Ecuador that we decided to offer sample bags of a different coffee this month. After much debate, we chose a coffee at the opposite end of the flavor spectrum, Organic Bali Kintamani. Instead of a smooth, rich, quintessentially American coffee, Bali Kintamani is bold, complex and intense, with a flavor that reminds us of figs, coriander and rich, sweet chocolate.
