Good-Bye Northern Hemisphere...Hello Southern
Carrie Masek
In early fall, new crop coffees transition from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere. We just received a skid of new coffees with both the last of this season's Central Americans and the first or this season's Indonesians and Southern Hemisphere Africans. Check them out:
El Salvador Las Mercedes RFA: A honey processed, Rain Forest Alliance certified coffee with blueberry topnotes and lovely sweet chocolate and macadamia nut richness. A rich and satisfying coffee perfect for sipping all day long.
Organic Dragon (Organic Flores Bajawa Ngura) RFA: A naturally processed, Rain Forest Alliance certified, organic coffee from the land of Komodo Dragons. A sweet, complex coffee with a malted barley aroma, smooth, silky texture and Bakers chocolate and toasted caramel richness.
Tanzania Ruvuma: Almost as lively as its Kenyan cousins, our new crop Tanzanian boasts zesty lemon topnotes balanced by a hint of raspberry and a smooth, rich finish.
Organic Uganda Bugisi RFA: A naturally processed, organically and Rain Forest Alliance certified coffee featuring gentle watermelon and raspberry topnotes, tootsie roll sweetness, chocolate graham cracker richness and the subtle warmth of spiced rum.
