Coffee by the Roast has always charged a flat rate for shipping. We ask our customers to pay the cost of shipping the first roast of coffee. If the order is for more than one roast, the additional postage is on us. On Sunday, January 21, the USPS raised first class and priority mail postage rates. The cost of a first class stamp went up to $.50, and the cost of flat rate envelopes and boxes also increased. Our cost of shipping a single roast of coffee has gone up as a result and is now well over the $6 we've charged for the last two years.
